Sustainability Research
Traversing this century, we humans seem to be testing earth’s potential to continue to ‘give’ against our ever-swelling demands off it. The stress of over consumption is so very visible in the consequences – in the economies, in the polluted environment - that we seem to ignore serious alerts from the Earth rather hopelessly. The time is long past exigency thinking and action. We believe, every business, be it in any product supply chain, irrespective of its operation size or significance, should assume responsibility to rethink product net utility efficiency factoring-in non-sustainability costs also. For businesses, it is now imperative to rethink; choice of materials, choice of source of materials, about making processes, technology choices and also about ways of reaching it to the consumers - for tackling non-sustainability issues as best as possible.
PaperCloth Research @ adve-adivce
Real ‘sustainability’ achievements demand sustained research efforts with well farmed ‘INSIGHTS’ and competently delineated missing questions. Keeping the larger critical objective of ensuring ‘Sustainability’ of material consumption, environmental well-being and also the commercial interests of all the players through the paper tissue supply chain, WYPZ is actively connected with the PaperCloth research project at adve-advice.
BAMBOO for paper tissue
‘Infrastructural eco-system imperatives for deriving socio-economic advantages from using Bamboo for making paper tissue in India’ is among three major research studies being actively carried out as part of the ‘PaperCloth’ research project. The questions about BAMBOO for Paper Tissue are;
Would shifting from regular wood to Bamboo for making pulp for paper tissue result in giving acreage of trees back to the nature in our own interest?
Would that add quality to the products?
Can that yield cost advantages as well?
‘PaperCloth’ extended research project would stitch-up commercial collaboration with agricultural universities in India, paper tissue mills and specialist technology research organizations in answering the questions made out above. Know more about ‘PaperCloth Research’…
Curbing wasteful consumption
However, we believe, more as a matter of responsibility all businesses across segments should actively work with their products and processes towards curbing wasteful consumption as best as possible.
At WYPZ ‘Curbing wasteful consumption’ is mandatory thinking in the new product development programs and the sales process.
Check WYPZ NEED ASSESSMENT survey service we provide, without any charge, to Hospitals and IT work facilities segment – essentially to enable them to buy right and just as much as their true needs are.
Good business practices
As Paper tissue segment in India seems set to shift trajectory of growth and pace with progressively increasing adoption and usage of paper tissue, we intend to assume leadership role in uncompromisingly inculcating ethical business practices across functions – as an entry strategy and as a fundamental marketing strategy. We are keen to establish benchmark business policy decisions and operation practices not just for the paper tissue segment but to businesses in general which are keen to compete by the values.
We see real scope for making changes for good in the production ambience, product descriptions, quality stipulations and in the terms of association with stakeholders.
Critical Social Concerns
Air / Water / Waste
Some social concerns are general, chronic, and almost impossible - and therefore happen to be the responsibility of every individual, every business entity to contribute towards reducing the intensity of pollution, as best as it can be.
All businesses can and should address to lessen the impact on these concerns from their business operations as best as possible and should do more with useful programs and campaigns towards easing out the concerns.
At WYPZ we hope to construct campaigns; that enable consumer action, that communicate knowledge and thoughts to motivate consumer thinking and action – all towards causing favourable impact in contributing towards keeping the pollution in the air and water to life sustainable levels. In creating the social campaigns we deploy our products, brand traits and of course involve all our stakeholders for maximum impact.
